Once you get an iPad stylus, I guess is it possible that the new gadget from Apple might become the next big graphics tablet product. With apps such as Layers and Brushes available already, the iPad can be transformed into a serious tool for drawing. The only thing it lacks is proper pressure sensitivity.
Drawing with your finger is a good way to make digital images on the iPhone or iPad, but does not feel anywhere near as natural as using a pen or stylus. Due to the way the touch screen works on these devices, you will need a special stylus that can be recognised by the pad. Once you have used one of these pens to draw onto the screen, you will never go back to using your finger.
The iPad stylus's are quite cheap and are usually purchased in packs of 2 or 3. One of the main manufacturers to consider is Pogo, who have been making products like this for the iPhone for several years already and have been used by digital artists to create many excellent images. Alternatively, you could always make your own.
