Just been reading this list of the summer’s upcoming big blockbuster films.

My favorites are definitely going to be The Simpsons Movie, Spiderman 3 and Transformers!

Dearie me, there doesn’t appear to be a single original idea in that list.

I’m sure the Simpsons, Transformers or Shrek3 will be a not unpleasant way to spend 2 hours but c’mon…

Is that really the apotheosis of cinema this year?

I can’t remember the last time I saw a good film at the cinema and I can’t say I’m looking forward to this summer’s offerings. Sequels and remakes don’t excite me, although I’ll still have to watch regardless. Coz you never know, I maybe pleasantly surprised. My list is Shrek, Pirates, Harry Potter, Simpsons and Halloween. Although drooling over Johnny Depp does excite me. Don’t tell Rich :)

I guess from the list I might go and see

    Spiderman 3
    The Bourne Ultimatum
    Evan Almighty

The likes of Shrek the Third, Oceans 13, are don’t make me what to rush to the cinema however

28 Weeks Later might turn out good though.

At least theres’s no Bridget Jones 3 (yet)

Does anyone still go to the cinema? I can’t remember the last time I felt the need to see a film on the big screen. Especially as we have a good set up at home to watch films. Besides watching films at home means I spend less money and avoid eating crap.

The last thing we went to watch was Happy Feet, which was total Happy Drivel.

Besides… the internet gets me all the films I need at a price thats right!

Last film I saw was Mr Beans Holiday.

OK, OK I know. But It was an Orange Wednesday and it kept the kids happy.

    Looking forward to Spidey 3!
